Zombie Panic Source Rules

General

  1. Any behavior meant to shock, disturb or upset online players is forbidden.  This includes but is not limited to:
  • Swearing
  • Sexism
  • Racism & Prejudice
  • Political or Religious comments that make the environment hostile
  1. This server’s primary language is English, therefore please only speak English over voice chat
  2. Voice chat microphone spamming that disrupts game-play is forbidden
  3. Players under 12 years old are not permitted to use voice chat
  4. Impersonating an admin is strictly forbidden (even as a joke).  Doing so will result in a permanent ban from the server and community
  5. Changing your player name to avoid being banned/kicked is also strictly prohibited and will result in a 30 day ban
  6. Hacking / scripts by players are not allowed on any Zombie Gaming [ZG] server at all. Using these can result in a permanent ban.  Examples include:
  • Speed Scripts
  • Auto Aim Scripts
  • Rate Hacking
  1. [ZG] has an auto kick system on its servers. If you are found to be slot wasting on a full server you will be removed
  2. Rage quitting is forbidden when spawning as Whitey.  This will result in automatic ban for a day.    Avoiding being selected as a zombie forbidden. If you are spotted doing so you will be given a warning and then kicked
  3. Accusing players on public chat is not allowed. Use the @ message system to alert an admin
  4. Team killing is strictly forbidden.  [ZG] has an auto kick system on its servers whereby you will be automatically kicked at 5 TKs.  Admins have the right to kick/ban if problem is persistent.  Unsolicited killings are forbidden
  5. Team wounding is as a general practice is forbidden.  The only exception is during ZPS gameplay whereby a zombie may engage a fellow zombie to team wound in order to increase their lunge/berserk potential
  6. Manipulation of the chat box is not allowed. This covers coloring your text, spamming and abusing the cross-server chat system
  7. Pornographic or other controversial sprays meant to shock, disturb or upset online players is strictly forbidden
  8. Spawn camping and killing are not permitted if it disrupts zombie game-play
  9. High ping/lagging will result in a kick from the server.  [ZG] servers have an auto kick system for players consistently pining over 275ms
  10. Blank names/Abusive names or changing a name exactly the same as another player is forbidden
  11. Bitching and moaning during gameplay should be limited.  If you need to do so, please post on the forums
  12. Disrespecting admins or abusing them for doing their job
  13. Spamming admin chat. The admins will receive your message, no need to spam it
  14. Abusing or undermining the admin team is at your own risk – all admins have a free banning policy on this. If you decide to act against this rule, punishment is likely to include permanent banning
  15. Advertising other servers or communities without the express permission of the server owner (either written or verbal) is not permitted on the server, website or Steam Community page
  16. Zombies helping humans or humans helping zombies during game-play is not permitted

Rule Breaking – Kick & Ban Policy

Admins reserve the right as a punishment to breaking Zombie Gaming [ZG] rules is to instill a consequence.  Some kick/ban consequences are automated already within the server(s).  In some cases, admins will enforce rules in real time.  For every violation, the Admin will provide one (1) warning.  Thereafter, a kick or ban will take place as follows:

  • 1st Violation – 1 Day Ban (1444 Hours)
  • 2nd Violation – 1 Week Ban (10080 Hours)
  • 3rd Violation – 1 Month Ban (43829 Hours)
  • 4th Violation – Permanent Ban

After a third ban violation (third strike) any subsequent ban, regardless of the type of violation will result in a permaban.

Player’s Contract of Gaming Rights

  1. Every player is welcome on the server regardless of their gender, race, color, creed, sexual orientation, etc
  2. Admins will act professionally while during game-play. Players have the right to report admin abuse and other player abuse in the forums.  Anyone who seeks retribution on another for reporting an abuse violation will be asked to immediately leave the community. Conversely, anyone who repeatedly accuses others of unsubstantiated abuse, potentially will also be asked to leave the community
  3. Admins while on the server will not bully, harass, single-out, conspire or gang up on any individual player or admin on the server
  4. Admins will not cheat and must adhere to the server rules just like any other player
  5. Admins will not remove any forum post without first notifying the community owner directly through the Zombie Gaming [ZG] steam community group or via email at [email protected]

Admins found in continual violation of these player rights (including the general server rules) will be stripped of their rights and potentially removed completely from the community.  Only abuse submissions in the forums will be considered.  Direct requests to the community owner will be referred back to the forums.

Players breaking ZG Community rules are not tolerated.  Please report abuse in the appropriate forum or submit a direct request to [email protected]
