Okay, so Im pretty sure it’s a bot. But why do we have it on the deathmatch server? It’s annoying.

That bot is from a HL2 DM plugin, he talks (repeat same old people’s chat) when no one is talking with him. There’s a command to ‘kill’ (kick) him from the server, but i think only Quag can do that.

Well, i have played on that DM server and we have some ‘brazilians’ players that talks on chat on their main language, so the Bot ‘copy’ their chats and repeats it on chatbox. Since the bot will speak 40% Portuguese, 40% enlgish 20% other languages, we should remove it for now IF the community members are already pissed off.

Upon next server reboot, OverSeer will be gone The original intent was to place a bot that could act as an admin, however with the bot constantly talking, it kind of defeats the purpose. I will continue to research this over the next few months, however for now it is gone.

It was meant as an admin deterrent, not an actual admin. I have noticed a population drop since i have removed the bot. I am looking at reinstating.
