Hey MCG here, just recently I played the server my ping went from 230 to 350 therefore making me get kicked. Did the server move or something? Answer quick, this is one of my fav servers.

@cpt-quagThe server has not moved. It is possible that you have something going on either with your own computer or network. I can’t help you on your network as I have no idea how it is set up, however, below is the link to our player resources section which will help with improving / tweaking your computer for a better gaming experience:

Umm, I went to that Player Resources thing and I do not really know which one is suggested for me and I also don’t know how to use them.

@cpt-quagI would start with CCLeaner and also TCP Optimizer.

@cpt-quagFor ccleaner, click the button that says, “Run Cleaner” Its pretty simple. You can also click on the registry button (right hand column) and click “scan for issues.” Once this has been completed, you can fix the issues that have been identified. This will most likely dramatically speed up your system.

Apparently, it’s supposed to delete all things that I don’t use…..but what if it deletes my RE collection or something?

@cpt-quagThe web browser stuff will not remove anything critical. The registry will only clean up orphaned registry entries, again will not remove anything critical. What is RE collection?

Well, pretty much Resident Evil 1,2 and 3, also what are registry entries if I could ask?

Well, that CCleaner didn’t really do much about my connection

What other stuff do you have plugged into your network? Do other servers on ZPS have higher pings as well? Or just ones in the USA? There’s many variables that can affect your connection from Malaysia to the USA. Maybe your internet provider changed some of its routes? All of which can effect ping to MMNB.

Also I’m not sure what other stuff I got plugged into my network and the other servers may have low pings at times then later in the day, it increases…..except for the HK server.
