@cpt-quagdR. Vodker does it a gain in this outstanding new redeux of the ever popular Abandoned Mall. This favorite map of the community was the staple of our first ever ZPS Mall server. This is an epic map that combines very fast pace gameplay with creative areas to play in. Since the release of the map, we have gotten feedback on some improvements/enhancements to make this map even better:
- Game startup menu named BANDONED MALL B1 shown instead of ABANDONED MALL B1 see screenshot here
- Add a couple of Health Regeneration Stations as seen in Half Life 2
- Turn off boards being able to break. Boards do not break in any other Deathmatch map when humans stand on them after they are nailed in. Would like this map to be the same as the other maps
- Add Zombie Gaming [ZG] Logo to the Mall Directory ( VTF FILE VMT FILE )
- Reduce the number of available shotguns (they are extremely powerful in all of the many available tight quarters battles

I noticed that the grenades that spawn originally when the map starts don’t respawn. The boxes with 3 grenades each do respawn.
Does Cafe Z have any items at all? If not, it would be nice to have an item or two.
It might be just me, but it seems a little too bright in the well-lit areas, almost blinding with HDR enabled. I wouldn’t want it to be a *dark* map, though. But it could just be me.
A comment in general – I’m not a fan of the health & armor power ups you get from killing players. It is just too strong. It’s not cool to sneak up on someone, unload an entire AK-47 into their back, they shake it off, turn around, and blow you away with 1 shot from their shotgun. Having 100 health + 200 armor just makes someone too strong, especially when the weapons already do less damage than in regular ZPS.
Anyway, awesome map – I love playing it!

Maps great, although I did find one tiny mistake. It changes nothing and I dont see it warrenting an update on its own.
Right below where Wickk is standing there is a Nodraw. Doesn’t allow you to see anymore than what you already could with the window. Just looks a tiny big messy.
