Help, can’t join the Mall server…despite there being no people.

Take a look at our F.A.Q section for Invalid Steam UserID Ticket.  Some of the new steam client updates may have broken the ability to join a ZPS server.   Let me know if this works for you, if not, I will take a look at the server.

Probably the server, Im fine with every other game and server. (Except that I get kicked out for my ping in other servers :U)

We need wait Valve fix ZPS to us to join in other dedicated servers.

Thanks Taba for the update.  I am going to reinstall our ZPS servers using Steampipe as I noticed that the HLSUpdateTool is now officially end of life.  As soon as this is completd, I will make an announcement posting in our Steam Community Group.

Its not the only Mod suffering this problem.  A lot of source mods are having steam ticket issues.

The Zombie Panic Source team announced on Tuesday that Valve did fix this issue, read more about it here:

We have moved both of our ZPS servers over to Valve’s Steampipe from the old HLSUpdateTool which also seems to have resolved the issue.  Please feel free to join our ZPS servers at any time:

Oh and didnt the server use to have more maps? I just checked the voting menu.

I removed all of the maps except for a short list.  Taba is currently going through the list of maps and will be chosing a new set to be available on that server. 

Please SEED the server and lets get ZPS resurrected!

I got a total of 4 earlier today.

I tested out Taba’s map with him after and got 6.

I seem to be the only one doing it

The problem is that we have so many popular servers that already took “our” players. For example: Los Clan have 5 servers (Church, Cabin, Aquatica, Biotec, Custom/Stocks) and Sammy’s Servers, with their RPG system, have 4 (2 in UK 2 in US) all random maps. And SL with their other 24/7 servers and STARS too. We have a high ‘difficult’ problem to get the ZG server (Mall/Stocks and Custom’s one – not the ZPD , since the ZPD is good enought to stay running, we still get some players from it) up on the list and with good players playin’.

I mean, come on, the currently ZP Community is not so big, few folks play ZPS on those days since we have so many new games begin release (Contagion/Rust/DayZ etc). So we need a plan to remove some ‘annoying/bored’ maps, bugged versions or not needed maps on the servers, and run few good ones. And of course, some people need play a little on the server if we want ZG on the Top25 at least.

I don’t wanna a ZG server that runs one map 24/7 only, we need run some custom and all stocks maps and keep FF off. The Infection chance we will keep it in 75% since we have ‘pills cure’ system, it’s a good challenge to kill he whity first than the regular zombies. 🙂
