28 Years Later writer totally baffled in interview with VTuber Korone Inugami – Dexerto

Popular VTuber Korone Inugami Korone interviewed the director and writer of 28 Years Later, and the results are just as hilarious as you’d expect.

In one of the most surprising interview collabs we’ve seen, director Danny Boyle and writer Alex Garland sat down with Korone Inugami. The popular Japanese VTuber is known for her high-energy video game streams and goofy personality, which entertain millions of fans around the world.

While Korone is a big fan of zombie games, most notably Resident Evil, fans were surprised to see her interviewing the director and writer behind 28 Years Later. It certainly wasn’t on our bingo card, and by the look of Alex Garland’s less-than-enthusiastic face, it wasn’t on his either.

As Korone introduced herself, Boyle could barely contain himself, grinning and laughing. Meanwhile, Alex silently nodded in the background, seemingly confused by the situation he found himself in.

“Hi, I’m Korone Inugami, nice to meet you! I love you so much. I love you, I love you! Thank you,” said Korone in English.

With the brief introduction out of the way, Korone began her Q&A, and Alex quickly reached for his coffee cup. The writer didn’t hide his frustrations, folding his arms, staring into the distance, and letting out the occasional sigh, while director Danny Boyle answered Korone’s questions with a big smile on his face.

“I think I would die right away [in 28 Years Later], but would you save me?” Korone asked excitedly.

“I’m sure we can probably work out some way of protecting you. It’s probably safest to stay on the island, rather than go to the mainland,” explained Boyle. “And you could help the other women organize the festivities on the island, the big party that everyone goes to, yes.”

While the latter question sparked some smiles and smirks from Alex, it was Korone’s next question that had him truly baffled.

“I’m a dog, but can the Rage Virus infect dogs too?” asked Korone, to which Alex bluntly replied: “She’s not a dog,” which was met with smiles from Danny Boyle. Despite his bewilderment, Alex answered the question, stating that in this case, Korone would be very lucky.

“Very luckily, anything that is crossbred with a Spaniel is completely safe,” said Alex. “It’s immune to the virus, so it won’t be a problem for you, you can relax.”

While a zombie apocalypse may not be a problem for Korone, it is a life and death situation for the protagonists of these 30 scariest zombie games ever made
