The legends at iam8bit, together with PopCap Games and EA, have announced a special Plants vs. Zombies collaboration to ring in the iconic franchise’s 16th anniversary (has it really been that long?).
On that note, the head-bopping soundtrack of Plants vs. Zombies will be available on vinyl, offered in two collectible formats:
- The first features a 7” limited edition single featuring a riff on Billie Eilish, priced at $15.99
- A deluxe 2xLP edition priced at $44.99 will also be available
The 7” single for Plants vs. Zombies will features“Bad Zombies,” performed by The String Revolution featuring Tina Guo.
Inspired by Billie Eilish’s chart-topping hit “Bad Guy”—which itself riffs on the Plants vs. Zombies theme song! — this homage sets out to bridge gaming and pop culture in true Plants vs. Zombies fashion.
Note the record will come housed in glow-in-the-dark album art, styled as a nod to Billie Eilish’s hit record When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?. Also included is a mesmerizing zoetrope center label that nearly comes alive while it spins!
Do note that this edition is strictly limited to just 2,000 units worldwide.
