Josh Hartnett’s comeback continues. After being the best part of M. Night Shyamalan’s Trap last summer and fighting assassins on a plane in Fight or Flight this year, the actor’s next move will be starring in a creepy new Netflix limited series. The untitled show will see Hartnett as a fisherman in a remote village in Canada who is terrorized by a sea creature. He will also executive produce.
Hartnett has on-screen experience with the horrors of the great white north, he previously played a sheriff in a small Alaskan town so far north they experience 30 consecutive days of darkness due to polar night. Which, of course, makes the townspeople perfect prey for vampires. That movie is 30 Days of Night (2007), which is currently streaming free on Pluto.
The Netflix series does not have a release date but Creepy Catalog will provide updates as they are announced.
