Days Gone Remastered Hits PS5 With Players Begging For A Sequel | Happy Gamer

The Days Gone Remastered for PS5 just launched into the world by Bend Studio, and fans have gone mad-not just about how beautiful it looks but also due to their incessant screaming for Days Gone 2! Deacon tearing through the open world on his biker styled to the hilt in the original studio tweet set the tone from thereon in the day-a breathtaking experience that elicited great thrills and tons of anticipation.

The remaster came out-now, online only-rubbing it in deep for some. One user, Azdie, was very clear about their stance of not buying it without a physical release, whereas William Westwood clapped back for good measure with: “Well, you won’t be playing it then,” as a statement of finality to the fact that it is never going to be released physically. Oh, hardcore collectors.

And that’s the drama? Loud, loud screams for Days Gone 2. One scream behind the other.” Aisenherz kept it short with just, “Give us Days Gone 2,” while Russell Teddy went all detective on them, asking if Bend intentionally left the game kind of open-ended for a sequel or a DLC. Then, there was Traveler50, who very basically went off on a tangent of… whatever his weird thing was: “WAY WAY WAY better Zombie apocalypse game than Last of Us. This game deserved a sequel and TV show. But Woke HBO doesn’t like straight, masculine, white men as leads.” Yikes!

Not everyone is sour: There are some Platinums who are dying to jump back in. Dpruttz caps a segment of gameplay, writing, “Exactly what I’m doing right now,” and Belief-Or-Truth goes mad by calling this remaster a “masterpiece” and urging everyone to jump in. And then, Voided__Reality comes in, comparing it to Oblivion and calling it a “scam” in the notes section. Ouch!

Then there were requests of a seemingly random kind. Irwin Garcia asked for more avatars (??) while TrollOficer wanted to know if there was an option to lessen motion sickness. And j_pcc went straight ahead begging for a free code.

But love for Days Gone is a force to reckon with. Valiant Hermes succinctly put it, “I’ll keep saying it, whether we ever actually get it or not, but this game deserves a sequel.” And honestly? With this much demand, you would think Sony might at least consider it. For now, its remasteral is out, Rigidbody insulating smoother than ever, and freakers remain the most scary. So in case you missed it the first time, think of your new opportunity at seeing one of the best underrated zombie games. Do not give your hopes for a physical copy. Or for a call to announce a sequel any time soon.

And hey, if you are playing, maybe try not to get too motion sick. Or do. It’s your apocalypse. Ride safe, survivors.
