Sink Your Teeth into the Vampire Packed Trailer For ‘Bogieville’ – HorrorFuel.com

Ready for a heaping helping of Southern-fried horror with a side of fangs? The highly anticipated vampire movie, Bogieville. Helmed by the acclaimed British filmmaker and actor Sean Cronin, the film has just scored a release date and teaser.

Written by the wickedly creative Henry P. Gravelle, Bogieville unfolds in an American trailer park’s dusty, decaying landscape. Our story follows a young couple, Ham and Jody, who are lured into staying by the unsettlingly charming caretaker, Crawford. Little do they know, Crawford is the gatekeeper for the park’s rather unique residents – a whole clan of feral, hillbilly vampires with a taste for more than just Southern hospitality.

The Stars

The film stars Indonesian actor Arifin Putra (The Raid 2), Eloise Lovell Anderson (Villain, The Bastard Executioner), and Cronin himself, stepping in front of the camera as the lead vampire, Madison.

But that’s not all, folks. The ensemble cast is packed with familiar faces, including Jonathan Hansler, Ayvianna Snow (How to Kill Monsters), Sarina Taylor (Reckless), and Andrew Lee Potts (“Primeval,” “The Crown”). Poppie Jae Hughe and Daniel P. Lewis. Sean Cronin from James Bond: The World is Not Enough, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, is bringing his signature intensity and cinematic flair to this wild vampire ride.

Behind the scenes, Djonny Chen produces for Silent D Pictures, and Cronin produces for Magnificent Films. You can bet the special effects are gonna be good, with practical effects handled by Tequila Carter and VFX by Steve Askey.

Andreas Olavarria, the CEO of Level 33 Entertainment, seems pretty stoked about this one. “Bogieville is a wild new take on the vampire genre which, although being shot in Surrey, UK, imaginatively brings to life a trailer park in the American deep south,” he said. Sounds like they’ve really captured that eerie Southern gothic vibe.

And Cronin himself? Well, he’s got a pretty interesting (and slightly unsettling) take on his vampires. “Here’s a little something to stir the pot – is it taboo, or just plain vampire science that our bloodsuckers can sense when it’s a woman’s time of the month? Like sharks with fangs, but with better cheekbones.” Yeah, you read that right. Looks like “Bogieville” is going to be a vampire movie unlike anything we’ve seen before. Get ready for some bloody good (and maybe a little bit weird) fun!
