Warner Bros. revealed the full trailer for Zach Cregger’s new horror film, Weapons, and may be the most goosebump inducing trailer you’ll see all year.
After dropping a super creepy teaser trailer just last week, today we’re getting a full look at Weapons.
Two things are immediately clear after watching this trailer in the morning. One, it’s an INCREDIBLE trailer that not only sets the tone and hints at the story, but manages to be genuinely terrifying without relying on tropy jump-scares. Two, absolute not. The trailer alone was enough to scare me, I can’t imagine what the full film will be like.
That said, I’m intrigued to see where this story goes. The mystery element is engaging enough, but throw in some kids bursting through windows zombie-style, and people stabbing themselves in the face, plus having no frame of reference for the title yet (are the kids weapons of some kind?)…yeah, there’s a lot to ponder.
When all but one child from the same class mysteriously vanish on the same night at exactly the same time, a community is left questioning who or what is behind their disappearance.
Weapons is set to hit theaters on August 8, 2025.
