The interactive Minecraft content can be seen in a promotion for A Minecraft Movie that was recorded on video at the Roosevelt Field mall in Long Island, New York.
The hologram promotion was a partnership between Warner Bros. Pictures and the Hologram Media Network (HMN).
HMN is a holographic advertising network which can offer promotions at 30 Simon and 4 Macerich Malls in the US.
Content for the A Minecraft Movie experience was created by digital agency Pretty Big Monster.
Also part of the promotion for the movie was Snapchat which launched a collection of four A Minecraft Movie inspired AR lens experiences, called Blockify Your World, including a 3D Body Tracking lens.
