Andrew Lincoln is always a pleasure to watch. But he can only do so much with tired, predictable writing. The same moral predicaments have been done so many times, but they’re universal — I find it hard to believe they can’t be made fresh. The problem with this show is the writing. Plain and simple, it’s bad, boring and predictable. And pushing “The Walking Dead Universe.” Come on, we understand your IP ambitions, but keep it to yourself. The world has had enough of the MCU. Your IP ambitions are your business. Just give us good stories. This isn’t one. Hire some fresh and dangerous writers.
