PopCap’s smash hit tower defence game has finally been immortalised as a LEGO Ideas build in the shape of Plants vs. Zombies – Diorama.
It’s been a busy couple of days for LEGO Ideas submissions reaching the 10K mark in the second review of 2025, with multiple models all managing to achieve the same impressive feat. Those recent builds are now joined by yet another creative fan design, this time based on a massively-popular tower defence video game.
Plants vs. Zombies – Diorama is the brainchild of KrafftPunk and was constructed with 1,100 pieces, with 165 of those elements given over to the model’s accompanying minifigures and brick-built plants.

Inspired by PopCap Games’ hugely-successful series of titles bearing the Plants vs. Zombies moniker, the LEGO Ideas submission features the iconic front lawn setting from the game, as well as an intricate version of a player’s house.
Inside the Plants vs. Zombies – Diorama building are a selection of plant pots, a watering can, a fireplace and a clock. The exterior boasts five lawnmowers and eight unique plant-based defender types, such as Chompers, Peashooters, Wall-Nuts and Potato Mines, all lined up to take the zombie apocalypse to task.

On the zombie side of things, the LEGO Ideas submission comes with four undead minifigures, including three Browncoats and one Flag Zombie holding a signature brain flag. Plants vs. Zombies – Diorama has been designed to be a standalone display set or the lawn board can be used to play on, alongside a bonus Zen Garden minigame.
We’ll have to wait for now to see if the LEGO Ideas model has what it takes to become a future physical build, with the results of the second review of 2025 due later this year.
