Did 28 Years Later star use prosthetic penis for naked Alpha zombie? – PinkNews

28 Years Later star Chi Lewis-Parry has answered the question on everyone’s mind after seeing his naked Alpha zombie character in the hit horror series’ latest instalment.

Danny Boyle’s film follows on from 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later and (unsurprisingly) picks up 28 years after the Rage Virus outbreak occurred turning people into murderous ‘infected’.

As well as Ralph Fiennes, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Jodie Comer the film stars former MMA fighter-turned-actor Chi Lewis-Parry as ‘Samson’ one of the Alphas – bigger, stronger, more terrifying and also naked versions of the infected.

Viewers and critics alike have commented on this element of the film, which doesn’t shy away from full-frontal nudity. Things are flailing everywhere!

Addressing this with Variety, Lewis-Parry confirmed whether what audiences see in the film of him is real or not.

“Yeah, they were prosthetics,” he told the entertainment industry bible. “There’s a law that states, I think, because [child actor Alfie Williams is] a child, you’re allowed to have nudity but it has to be fake nudity.

“It was to protect him. And, as well, I’m really friendly and am always hugging people. I wouldn’t have been doing that if I was fully in the nip!”

Asked by Variety about whether the scale of the prosthetic is proportional to Lewis-Parry’s own appendage the actor was rather coy about it. He said, “Well, I’m 6′ 8″. I’ll say no more!” Say no more indeed!

Elsewhere the actor mentioned that he had ambitions of appearing as a villain in a future James Bond film. having posed with the iconic baddie, Jaws.

Describing a Bond villain as “an ultimate role” Lewis-Parry said there hadn’t been any “official discussions, but I’ve definitely put it out there.”

28 Years Later is in cinemas now.
