He’s back, and he’s louder, bolder, and more unshakably YUNGBLUD than ever.
The punk-pop firestarter just dropped “ZOMBIE,” the latest single from his upcoming fourth studio album IDOLS, and it comes complete with a cinematic music video starring Academy Award-nominee Florence Pugh. Yes, that Florence Pugh. Chaos? Glamour? Heartbreak? Yes, yes, and hell yes. Let’s go.
“ZOMBIE”: A BALLAD FOR THE BRUISED AND BRAVE
Clocking in as the third release from IDOLS, “Zombie” is a moody, haunting ballad that explodes into a soul-clawing catharsis. It’s not the usual riotous anthem. It’s quieter, deeper, and absolutely gutting.

Yungblud (born Dominic Harrison) says the song was inspired by watching his grandmother struggle through severe trauma that changed her fundamentally. “It’s about the feeling of deterioration and ugliness,” he said. “Shutting out the world out of fear of becoming a burden. But we all still want to be loved, no matter what version of ourselves we become.”
The video, directed by Charlie Sarsfield and produced by Untold Studios, stars Florence Pugh in a devastatingly raw performance. It’s not just a music video. It’s a short film, and it hurts in the best way. Pugh’s talent plus Yungblud’s razor-sharp emotion equals something otherworldly. Watch it. Cry. Repeat.

LOVE, BLOOD, CHAOS YUNGBLUD’S ERA OF TRUTH
“Zombie” marks the next step in Yungblud’s evolution. More personal, more cinematic, and more emotionally feral than ever. Gone is the cartoonish punk caricature. What remains is raw and real. Heartbreak in eyeliner and safety pins.
This is not just a new album. It’s a reckoning. It’s an anthem for the anxious, the bruised, the scared, the misfits who dance through the breakdown.
And with Florence Pugh riding shotgun, a blood-filled vinyl offering, and an arena tour of pure emotional combustion… Yungblud isn’t just back.
