Two slasher icons are preparing to share the screen.
Kane Hodder, who portrayed Jason Voorhees in four “Friday the 13th” films, and “Devil’s Rejects” star Bill Moseley are teaming up to star in a new horror-thriller named “Covet,” Variety can exclusively reveal.
Per the official synopsis, “When a sleazy car salesman is framed for the murder of his mistress, he must prove his innocence — only to learn the forces responsible may not be human.”
“Covet” is the sophomore effort from writer and director Brian McQuery, who directed “Plea” last year starring “Nightmare on Elm Street” alum Heather Lagenkamp.
“I’m thrilled to work with Kane in a role crafted to take advantage of both his intimidating presence and sense of humor. And I can not wait to see what Bill Moseley will do with his portrayal of Sheriff Troy,” McQuery said in a statement.
“Covet” is produced by Spyder Dobrofsky…
