As we all know, the Cordyceps epedemy and the zombieification of the humans in The Last of Us, is entirely possible. Scientifically, at least. That is and has always been part of the brilliance of Naughty Dog’s iconic game, that it has an original and believable reason rather than just “Zombie virus knocks out the world” as in 98.2% of all other zombie games/movies/series. Warner/HBO has thrown up a small mini-documentary about this part of The Last of Us that is 23 minutes long and is really worth watching. Go!
