Steam is doing a spooky sale on a ton of (loosely defined) vampire and zombie games, many of which you can play on the humble Steam Deck. There’s been a good amount of game deal campaigns this May, including the Fanatical Spring Superstars Collection bundle that we’ve reported on previously, and we’re always glad to see more offers pop up, particularly for the handheld crew. This particular Steam sale runs until June 2nd, at 10AM Pacific Time / 1PM Eastern Time / 6PM BST or UCT+1.

Whether you have a Steam Deck OLED or LCD variant, we’ve put together a list of games from the sale that will run on your Valve handheld. That being said, it’s always worth checking online to see how well each title will run, based on the system requirements – the Steam Deck is not up there with the latest gaming PCs, so if you’re running a game like The Last of Us Part I (from 2022) then expect to play it on the lower settings for relatively modest FPS compared to a desktop rig.

The best Zombies vs Vampires game deals verified for Steam Deck

The following games should play as intended on the Steam Deck with no tweaking needed.

Other game deals playable on Steam Deck

Games that are playable on the Steam Deck but which aren’t verified are those where you might have to tweak the settings a bit to get the control system to work as intended on the handheld, for the resolution and sizing to allow for proper text legibility or proper functioning of the user interface, or to launch as easily as other titles. Steam Deck keyboard functionality might also not work as it should from the get go.

Still, there are usually plenty of places to read online about how to do this for each game, so if you don’t mind having to do a bit of tinkering, these titles still represent fantastic gameplay experiences.
