It’s time to finally resolve the long-standing debate: fangs or decayed teeth? Bats or brains? Vampires or zombies?
Steam’s Zombies vs. Vampires Fest is here to assist you in making a decision, featuring a slew of discounted PC games and an exclusive look at upcoming titles that showcase creatures of the night and the undead legions.
Major titles such as The Last of Us, Dying Light 2, and Telltale’s The Walking Dead adopt a narrative approach, perfect for those who appreciate a zombie tale that really focuses on human behavior in dire circumstances.
But perhaps you share my preference for just blasting a bunch of monsters with a massive machine gun. If that’s the case, you should definitely grab games like the classic horde shooter Left 4 Dead 2 (which is currently available for under a dollar) and Killing Floor 2. Technically, the latter involves clones more than the undead, but that can remain our little secret. The original L4D is also on sale for just $1.
When it comes to the bloodsuckers, there are numerous V Rising bundles discounted; it’s considered one of the top survival games out there, even if you’re not into the whole fang thing. One of my favorites is Evil West, a beat ’em up reminiscent of the Xbox 360 era where you take on gargoyles as a hilariously muscular version of Van Helsing. If you’re looking for a pure adrenaline rush, check out the frantic action of Vampire Survivors.
Steam’s Zombies vs. Vampires Fest also offers a variety of free Point Shop items to enhance your profile—perfect for Halloween or whenever you’re in a spooky mood. Visit the “From Sales & Events” category in Steam’s Point Shop and scroll down to uncover them. Or you can bypass the effort and use this direct link to claim them.
Several classics are surprisingly absent from the sale—no Castlevania, no Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines—but there’s still an abundance to explore. The promotion runs until June 2 at 10 am PT on Steam. And as usual, be sure to utilize our comparison tool to discover the best deals for your soon-to-be favorite games.
