Get ready for the ‘Ice Age’ as Zombie Plane gets “twice as cool” with the legendary Ice-T joining Vanilla Ice, Sophie Monk and Chuck Norris.
Production will wrap this week on the Gold Coast with International hip-hop and screen icon Ice-T doubling the ‘bodycount’, alongside Australian acting royalty Stephen Curry and a surprise cameo by none other than one of the country’s most high profile & successful media personalities, Kyle Sandilands.
Ice-T and Sandilands are the perfect fit to the film that focuses heavily on music, iconic musicians starring as themselves as they battle supernatural threats.
Directed by Lav Bodnaruk and Mike Mier, the film stars Vanilla Ice, Sophie Monk, Chuck Norris, Ice T, Amy Shark, Natalie Bassingwaithe and Teresa Liane with Sir Bob Geldof, Brian Austin Green, Cody Simpson, John Jarratt, Matt Okine, Alex Fleri, Victoria Fleri and Dan Ewing battling Zombies on a flight from Sydney to LA.
Filmed largely in Queensland with a strong Australian crew, Zombie Plane blends outrageous action with fast-paced laughs and nostalgic pop culture.
Due to hit screens later this year, Zombie Plane will be released by Australian Distributor Radioactive Pictures. The film was financed by local Gold Coast film finance company Parc Entertainment Capital, Bacena Capital and a range of Executive Producers based in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
