Three New Eli Roth Movies Are Coming Via The Horror Section! – HorrorFuel.com

Eli Roth’s filmmaking career is getting a fresh shot of adrenaline with his brand-new venture, The Horror Section. This allows Roth to make original horror movies outside the traditional studio system. Giving him even more creative freedom to terrify us all. Currently, three new films are coming your way!

One of the first films on the slate is an original horror film Roth will direct, The Ice Cream Man. If that doesn’t get your blood pumping, Roth has described it as his “most terrifying and insane film to date.” Considering his past work, including Cabin Fever, Hostel, The Green Inferno, and Thanksgiving, that’s a chilling claim!

A Global Alliance for Fear

Variety reports that The Horror Section has just signed a major deal with the German production banner Construction Film. It is described as a “multi-year, multi-picture co-financing and production” partnership. That means we can expect plenty of scares from this new collaboration.

The first project is a German remake of Roth’s 2015 film Knock Knock, a remake of the 1977 film Death Game. Roth will produce this upcoming German-language version.

A Giallo Throwback and More

Adding even more excitement to the news is that Eli Roth is also writing and directing a horror film titled Final Cut. This project is reportedly a throwback to the stylish and often gruesome Italian Giallo movies that were hugely popular in the 1970s. For those unfamiliar, think vibrant colors, twisty mysteries, and plenty of bloody kills – a perfect fit for Roth’s sensibilities.

While details are still scarce, we do know that Veronica Ferres has been revealed as the first cast member for Final Cut. She is known for her roles in films like Every Breath You Take and Crisis. In addition to starring in the film, she will also produce it.

Roth expressed his excitement about the new partnership: “I’m so thrilled to be partnering with Veronica and the team at Construction Film. Veronica is a superb talent both as a star and producer, and I look forward to working with her as a director and producing partner. I have had tremendous success with international co-productions and look forward to expanding The Horror Section’s global footprint by tapping into the amazing talent all across Europe. Horror films appeal globally, and we look forward to scaring and thrilling audiences worldwide.”

It sounds like Eli Roth is about to unleash a new wave of fear on a global scale. And we’re totally here for it!
