Call Of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 4 Release Date And Time, Requirements, Gameplay, New …

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 4 is set to launch on May 29 at 9 a.m. PT, promising a wealth of new content for multiplayer, Warzone, and Zombies enthusiasts.

The wait is nearly over–Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 4 is right around the corner, and it’s shaping up to be a content-packed update. Whether you’re a fan of the fast-paced multiplayer action, a Warzone enthusiast, or love the challenge of Zombies mode, there’s something new in store for everyone this season.

Season 4 officially kicks off on Thursday, May 29, at 9 a.m. PT, across all platforms. That’s a quick turnaround from Season 3, and if everything stays on track, we’re expecting this season to run through mid-July. Not all content will be available immediately; some additions will roll out over the first 72 hours post-launch, what Activision calls the “launch window.” Others will land mid-season, following the traditional Call of Duty update structure.

New Multiplayer Maps and Modes

Multiplayer fans will have a lot to dive into. Five new maps are coming, with three at launch—Shutdown, Fugitive, and Blitz—all tied to the current Black Ops 6 storyline of Adler’s team rescuing Stitch from a CIA black site in Iceland. Blitz is compact and intense, also playable in two-on-two battles, while Fugitive offers a medium-sized battlefield for classic 6v6 play.

Mid-season, you can look forward to Eclipse, a nightclub-themed close-quarters map, and a reimagined version of Black Ops 3’s Fringe, redesigned to fit the icy Iceland narrative.

Three new modes are also joining multiplayer. Team Elimination (launch mode) tweaks Kill Confirmed mechanics—collecting dog tags reduces enemy lives. Later in the season, One in the Chamber returns, and a new Party Ops mode introduces mini-games in a competitive setting.

Zombies Mode Gets Competitive

Zombies fans are in for a treat as Grief mode returns! This beloved competitive mode splits players into two teams of four, racing to outlast each other against relentless zombie waves—while sabotaging the opposition with debuffs.

Two limited-time Zombie modes also drop mid-season: Starting Room, which limits you to the initial spawn zone for survival, and Abomination, which adds a brutal new boss to Liberty Falls.

A new Ammo Mod—Shatter Blast—is also coming, giving bullets explosive power to break enemy armor. Plus, three new GobbleGums add even more depth to your undead battles.

Recommended Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 11 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 / AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: SSD with 100+ GB available space

Console players will need enough free storage for the update, which is expected to be sizeable.

How To Download Season 4

Getting started is easy. Just check your console or PC platform’s store for updates. Make sure you’ve installed the latest version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 ahead of the launch time, and the new content will become available to download.
