EGS is never shy about giving away some of the best games ever made, usually at a 2-a-week pace. This week is no exception, and it’s off to a great start with the announcement that co-op zombie shooter Dead Island 2 is free to claim. But don’t sit around waiting. The base game is free through Thursday, May 22nd at EGS.
During the game, players take on the role of any one of several “survivors turned slayers.” These capable characters include Amy, Bruno, Dani, Ryan, Carla, and Jacob. Each one comes with a package of robust abilities and personalities to match. Abilities can further be honed through the Skill Card system, which allows players to customize their heroes in a way that suits them best.
