Dead Island 2

Dead Island 2 (2023) is a first-person action RPG developed by Dambuster Studios and published by Deep Silver. A zombie virus spreads across Los Angeles, and you fight to survive in style as you discover who (or what) you are. Featuring intense and visceral melee combat, Dead Island 2 boasts of having “the most advanced dismemberment system ever seen.”

Use the crafting mechanic to create insane modded weapons like flaming katanas or an exploding sledgehammer. Dead Island 2 features dozens of zombie variants, each with unique mutations, attacks, and LA vibes. Play a cinematic co-op adventure with up to three players or join the Bobcats in co-op horde mode.

From the creators of Botanicula and CHUCHEL, this dark indie game features creepy music and sounds from the Czech freak-folk band DVA. It also comes with a warning for those sensitive to flashing lights or images. There is also a mature content warning for disturbing images such as blood violence and more. In other words, Happy Game is anything but happy.

Happy Game is free in the Epic Games Store until May 22 at 10 am ET.
