True Blood star Ryan Kwanten is returning to the world of zombies and werewolves, both of which were heavily featured in the HBO fantasy horror series. The actor is part of the ensemble cast for Dead Howling, which was recently acquired by Kaleidoscope Film Distribution.
Per Deadline, Kwanten — who played Jason Stackhouse in all seven seasons of True Blood — will star in Dead Howling opposite Star Wars fan favorite Temuera Morrison and The Man from Snowy River actor Tom Burlinson. Morrison is best known for playing Jango Fett and his many clones, including his clone son Boba Fett, in the Star Wars universe, as well as Aquaman’s father in the DC Extended Universe. Burlinson is best known for his role in the ’80s cult film Fresh and Blood, which was directed by Paul Verhoeven, best known as the filmmaker of RoboCop and Total Recall.
