Asha (Revathi), a middle-aged school counsellor, lives with her adult son Vinu (Shane Nigam), who is dealing with anxiety, depression, and unemployment. They live in a gloomy, old house, grappling with grief following the recent death of Asha’s mother. As time passes, both experience eerie, unexplained occurrences in the house. Vinu believes the house is haunted, while Asha dismisses his fears as symptoms of his deteriorating mental health. The brilliance of the movie lies in its ambiguity – are they truly being haunted, or is their shared trauma and psychological distress manifesting as paranoia and hallucination?
