Three new horror movies began streaming on April 22nd. They were all recently in theaters, but you’d be forgiven if you missed their brief theatrical windows. All three launched in around 1,000 theaters in North America before quickly dropping in their second week, and leaving most theaters shortly after.
The good news? They’re streaming now. The okay news? They’re currently at premium VOD prices. But if you want to see them now, they’re available. And if you’re patient, their rental prices will go down with time. There is currently no announcement for when they’ll hit subscription services, but we’ll update you when it happens.

For viewers who enjoy: campground slashers, horror comedies
Finn Wolfhard and Billy Bryk wrote, directed, and co-star in this silly slasher film. Fred Hechinger (Fear Street, Kraven the Hunter) stars as Jason, a camp counselor who his fellow counselors think is too old to still be going to summer camp every year. Then, when a masked killer begins stalking and slashing, Jason becomes a prime suspect despite his efforts to keep everyone safe.
Based on the film 4×4 from 2019, Locked takes place primarily inside the confines of a sealed SUV. Inside is Eddie (Bill Skarsgård), a man who entered the vehicle desperate for money. Now he’s just desperate for an escape. The SUV is locked and controlled by someone who really, really dislikes criminals. Eddie just happens to be the poor guy who wandered into William’s trap.
