Rumours about the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 continue to flow. This time, the details were shared by a Reddit user under the nickname Bigbyy, who claims to have participated in a recent focus group dedicated to the game.
Here’s What We Know
It is worth remembering that this is information from a study aimed at assessing interest and receiving feedback, so some of the features mentioned may not be included in the final version of the game.
So, according to the playtester, what should we expect in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7:
- The plot will unfold in 2035 and will be a continuation of the Black Ops 2 story. It will also feature Woods and Mason.
- The story mode will support co-op for up to 4 players.
- The game will feature a large open map called Avalon.
- The Omni movement system will return, including running on walls.
- The zombie mode will feature an original cast of characters in the form of multiverse variations.
- Zombie mode will get a remake of the Transit map.
- The zombie mode will be a round-based game.
- The zombie mode will also have a difficulty switch, an “amazing vehicle”, and a greater focus on the story.
- The zombie mode will have the largest round-robin map in the history of the series.
- Multiplayer will include a 32vs32 mode.
- There will be remakes of popular maps in the futuristic Japanese style of 2035.
- A progression system is planned for everything, including grenades, kill series, and perks.
- Progress in multiplayer will probably be carried over from Black Ops 6.
