The official cover art and special features for both the Blu-ray and DVD will be confirmed closer to the sets’ release date this autumn.
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live was originally announced as a series of movies to continue Rick and Michonne’s story, before franchise boss Scott M. Gimple eventually pivoted to a TV miniseries.
Gimple collaborated with series stars Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira on the premise of The Ones Who Live, which revolved around Michonne trying to rescue Rick from the mysterious CRM group that appeared across multiple Walking Dead shows.
While the series was conceived as a one-off limited series, Gimple has since hinted that a second season is definitely “possible”.

“It was a wild ride to make The Ones Who Live. It was like six years of a lot of hoping and pivoting and working,” he added. “It didn’t eventuate the way I thought it would; it eventuated so much better.”
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live aired on AMC in the US and is now available to stream on Sky Max and NOW in the UK.
