Red Dear Redemption 1 features a collection of outfits for you to collect, and its zombie-themed DLC, Undead Nightmare, carries most of them over.
In fact, it even comes with special outfits of its own, including an appropriately spooky transformation into a zombie!
Yes, if playing as a badass, gunslinging zombie hunter wasn’t enough for you, Undead Nightmare gives you the option to transform good old John into an undead badass gunslinger!
The transformation becomes available after you beat the DLC’s main storyline and watch the final post-game cut scene where John rises from his grave to roam the Wild West yet again.
The transformation comes with three unique outfits for you to wear, and aside from looking frighteningly dapper, it also provides you with the special benefit of reducing the hostility of nearby zombies, as well as some hilarious new dialogue where John responds to other survivors with grunts and groans.
It’s the kind of reward that makes completing the DLC worth it, so if you’ve never done it, be sure to check it out. A new (but not so fresh) look for John hides behind just one end screen.
