The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live wrapped up its first season over the weekend, but the next chapter in the franchise is just a few months away. AMC has debuted a preview for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 2, which reveals that the show now has an unwieldy new subtitle: The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon The Book of Carol. As seen in the first season finale of the show, Melissa McBride is reprising her role as Carol Peletier, whom she has played since The Walking Dead premiered on AMC in 2010. And in the clip below, Carol demonstrates yet again why she remains a force to be reckoned with.
Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) was abducted in the first season of his show and transported to Europe. But Carol doesn’t know that yet. The only thing that Carol has to go on is that someone was riding around on Daryl’s motorcycle. When Carol catches up to the men who sold Daryl’s motorcycle, they’re less than inclined to help her find her friend. That’s why she’s willing to give them some proper motivation from the business end of a crossbow.
Meanwhile, Daryl remains in Europe alongside some of his new allies. The preview clip reveals that Daryl and his friends set up an ambush for their mutual enemies, only for their trap to fail. Rather than letting the effort go to waste, Daryl improvises on the spot. But not all of Daryl’s companions are going to walk away from that battle intact.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 2 will premiere this summer on AMC.
