HARPERS FERRY, W.Va. (DC News Now) — One may not associate Harpers Ferry with Hollywood but that could soon change.
The horror film, Snarly Yow, is about a vicious dog-like creature that terrorizes the mountain communities where it roams.
The producers of the project chose Harpers Ferry because of the scenic mountain terrain and rivers at where the town sits.
“We love small communities,” Co-star Karolina Morrongiello, said. “Because that’s the best part. Usually in these small towns nothing is going on but we like to bring entertainment to the town and work with everybody.”
The production crew and cast love the charm of the historic town where the film is set and say the scripts read like a “nail-biter.”
“If you like thriller suspense horror films, especially about a great character like the Snarly Yow, this film is one you won’t want to miss,” executive producer, Chuck Morrongiello, said.
Shooting is expected to wrap up later this month and the film will debut soon after.
