Earlier this year, we were treated to a sprawling reissue of Goblin‘s complete score to the 1978 George A. Romero classic Dawn of the Dead. Now the current lineup of the Italian prog-horror outfit are dusting off Dawn of the Dead once again for a new studio album.
Helping celebrate the 40th anniversary of Dawn of the Dead, Goblin are unleashing a new full-length called FEARLESS (37513 Zombie Ave), which a press release calls a “celebratory album” that features “reimagined versions of the most significant tunes from their original iconic soundtrack.” In addition, the album will feature new arrangements from two tracks from Suspiria.
FEARLESS (37513 Zombie Ave) will be released December 24, both on vinyl and CD, as well as a special limited-edition “Camouflage” vinyl. It is available for pre-order now over here.
You can see the cover art above and the tracklist below.
The current Goblin lineup consists of Massimo Morante, Fabio Pignatelli, Agostino Marangolo and Maurizio Guarini, who calls Toronto home.
As previously reported, Romero sadly passed away last year. He was 77.
