    Thanks for the reminder, here’s what I currently have as for the gun store.

    Also where should all the humans spawn at? Id like for them to spawn far away from the gun store.

    Here is the deer head that was used in dm_crazy_town2test1 which can be used in the Gunner’s Den gun store.

    I had the chance to go through this map in a small testing capacity with Don’t Expect.  This is looking really awesome.  A few things that I found:

    For the gun store, there are gun racks that would be great to align the walls.  You can use examples from zpo_dayofthedead_b7-35.bsp.  There is an arsenal room in the first part of the map.  Also, for some of the decor, you have to change the name to Gunner’s Den (see poster below):

    I saw this object not properly rendered:

    I think for the directories, there should be a top floor for the top floor directory and one for the bottom floor.  There should be something that shows “you are here.”  Can you provide the size of that directory so I can make one for you?  Also, should we use the 2 sided directory sign from abandoned mall as opposed to the three sided one?

    It would be great to add the zpo_shreddingfield gunstore to the top floor as this was inspired by the movie. I added the gunstore music can be found here:

    For the mall directory. . . .I have added a couple of mockups for the directory sign.

    Also, it would be great to have a security room (maybe as part of the boiler room) with a push button to launch the mall announcements and music. This would need to be located somewhere on the first floor, in the same hallway of where the secret apartment would be found.

    I believe this was done in a few versions of the zps_abandoned_mall_kgt (i believe). I added a screenshot of the room with the button for reference.

    Yeah ill try do add other ways to get to the second floor for the zombies game play. We’ll just have to see how the new ladder system works after the update. The vents will be added to the mall too.

    Yes that is perfect.  I do think it is important to have a lot of ways to move between the first floor and second floor since Mall maps in general are very wide open.  This does make it fair for zombies.  Also, are you planning for putting in air vents.  I think this would also add to the fairness of zombies by being able to “sneak” around in the mall.

    • They are single escalator, but i believe there was some stairs around those escalators. You want more stairs for fair play against zombies?
    • Pennys was the store in the middle, I will provide a screen shot on how i added it since you played the version that didnt had it open. I am adding the double-escalators from pennys. (Will provide screenshot) Not sure which one is the anchor store? I know pennys had an elevator as in the movie will add it too.
    • Will add the ZG logos and custom textures once i’m near the at the end of mapping. I have no clue which “directory picture” from the mall you are referring to.

    I do very much like how this is coming so far.  A couple of comments:

    • I would recommend adding double-escalators instead of a single escalator.  If the actual mall only had a single, maybe then finding another place in the mall to add an extra pair (one up and one down)
    • I couldn’t tell which store was the anchor store (Penny’s or Gimbels).  I highly recommend that in one of these anchor stores that you add the escalator pair (in the movie, there are two escalator pairs right next to each other).  I would also then recommend adding an elevator in the anchor store (again just like the movie).  
    • There should be a directory sign on each end of the mall (one side with ZG logo and the other with the actual directory picture from the mall in 1978

    In any case, awesome start!!!!!
